Cheap Weber 7522 Cooking Grate Discount Review Shop
I finally splurged and got these cast iron grates for my 8-year old Weber Genesis Silver A...wish I would have gotten them years ago! They are heavy (durable) and leave a great char mark on whatever you grill. They are also easier to clean that the original ceramic coated steel grates, nothing has stuck to them yet after a month of use (10 or so uses). Combined with new burners, I have a new grill that will last another 8 years. I am very pleased.

Just letting people know that these grates are actually 14 7/8" by 11 1/8" each. The dimensions listed in the specifications are actually the size of the box.

I love these cooking grates, I picked up the Weber 75% off at w-mart over the winter, the cooking grates were ok, but looked cheap for a Weber. I took a chance on the upgrade and it really improved the quality of the food coming off the grill.

BEWARE!! The picture on Amazon is not the actual product picture. These are the best grill by far for any Weber 2 burner Grill (Spirit 500, Genesis Silver A etc..). Waaaaay better than the porcelain coated grill and even MUCH better than the Stainless Grill. Mind you, you do have to read the instructions and take care of the grill by seasoning it regularly. If you season it properly you will never get rust and food won't stick.

I purchased my Weber about a year ago and read up on cooking grates.
After all the research people recommended swapping out the original thinner grates with these heavier duty grates.
1) Holds the heat better
2) Very solid, thick and sturdy
3) last longer
I haven't looked back. These perform grates and would do it again if I ever upgrade my Weber
