My favorite recipe is similar to Applebee's Baby Back Ribs recipe, but the meat is cooked first. The end result is excellent, the taste of juicy barbecue ribs cooked with a surprise ingredient!
BBQ Baby Back Ribs cooked
1 or 2 racks Baby Back Ribs (St. Louis ribs work well too)
Apple juice (a large jug)
Spice rub
a large sheet pan (you buy) (1 -2 large enough to hold racks of ribs on the sides)
a small (about 8 "x11" x3 "deep) sheet (store bought bread)
barbecue sauce of your choice
(Note: only pans with a heat-resistant metal or disposable foil pans should be for this version of the recipe for Applebee's will be used.)
Drag the membranes of the ribs and rub it with a spice rub (which can be store bought or homemade) of your choice.
Put a little 'apple juice in a sheet pan small enough to be (to use a smaller pan, if necessary, install a small barbecue), more than half the side of the pan. Placefilled the pot in the open grill (below the glossy surface).
Place the ribs cook directly on the grill (with the juice tray under the grate) and for 1 hour.
Pour the juice in the film as large frying pan (it should reach about 1 "or so the bottom of the pan.) Remove the ribs from the grill and place the film in large pot. Prop meat in the pan on the side so it is not completely surrounded by the juice. Meanwhile, remove the little sheet tray under the grill (it is notlonger needed).
Place the foil pan (with ribs) on the grill, wrap the pan lightly with foil and bake for 1 hour on the grid.
The ribs should now tender, juicy and can be served at the table with a barbecue sauce of your choice. The recipe for Applebee's uses a sauce of ketchup and cider vinegar base.
